How could you be so careless to not even get a condom, or a morning after pill (especially since you were aware you had unprotected sex)? I do not approve of you actions pre pregnancy but I am not here to judge, I would like to tell you that I really respect how you took responsibilities for your actions. I understand how you could not get an abortion because I do not think I’d be able to either. Abortion should always be used as a last resort, and I’m glad you found an alternative option because most teens either don’t know or just don’t care. If I somehow got into the same situation I would have chosen adoption as well, to give the baby and myself the best shot in life. You made Vanessa so happy and you gave her a family and made her a mother when she couldn't bear her own child. Even though events came up that were “way above your maturity level” I think you’re underestimating yourself, the way you carried yourself through this says otherwise. Honestly I think you handled everything in the best possible way. Oh and when you have sex again find a condom, you do know where they are accessible too so no excuses. You’re parents raised you better. And as your father said, if you do decide to have a baby again, it will be on your terms.
